Inclusivity Initiatives

New inclusivity measures are being introduced at ESEB 2025 to increase safety and representation, organized by the ESEB Equal Opportunities Board.

More information will be available closer to the date, but we invite all attendees to benefit from:

Information Desk

Location: At the ESEB booth during all coffee breaks
Who will be there? An Equal Opportunities board member, acting as a liaison for supporting diversity at ESEB events and the society as a whole.
What to expect?

  • Look out for our banner and feel free to come by to chat and discuss ideas or concerns.
  • Information available on research and conference grants and awards for underrepresented groups.
 Custom Stickers for Badges

Purpose: To facilitate professional and personal support
Types of stickers available:

  • Representation stickers (e.g., “I am colour-blind,” “I have invisible disabilities,” “I am LGBTQIA+,” “I am sensitive to noise,” “I speak Spanish/ Hablo Español”)
  • Professional networking stickers (e.g., “Applying for a PhD/Postdoc,” “Hiring a PhD/Postdoc”)

Where to get them? At the ESEB Equal Opportunities information desk at the ESEB booth

Social Mixers for Underrepresented Groups

Purpose: Individual networking events for different communities.

Which mixers are there ​
